I'll start with translating the Desktop Configuration Guide now, however, since
I'll have some though days ahead, this one's not going to be translated within
48h. But I hope it gets finished before tuesday...

This bug is posted so that no other ppl will also start translating without
contacting me, thus to avoid double work.

You'll find the into Dutch translated desktop.xml (Gentoo Desktop Configuration
Guide) as attachment to this bug. Please commit into
gentoo-src/gentoo-xml/htdocs/doc/nl and create a link from the main
documentation page to this guide ("Nederlands") as this is the first translation
of this document.
