The test phase of app-mobilephone/gnokii is strange; it rebuilds the app with configure --disable-shared, which presumably then gets installed. In addition, several tests fail: test.1.sms test.11.ringtone test.16.imelody test.17.picture2 (segfault) test.2.concatsms Because of the rebuild issue at least, RESTRICT="test" seems like a good idea. There was a RESTRICT=maketest in 0.6.12 and for me it did the job (sys-apps/portage-2.0.51.22-r1). I've replaced maketest with test.
