Would it be possible to include netcat on the install CD? Its inclusion would make a lot of crazy network operations possible, like a backup of one's filesystem over a network or various diagnostic uses. Also, netcat is very small.
FYI, BusyBox has an option for netcat ('nc') support.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux". I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers, this is the only reasonable way to do this.
