Looking at the electricsheep version of /usr/share/xscreensaver/config/electricsheep.xml it seems they update it every release. The xscreensaver version of electricsheep.xml is an older version written by the electricsheep author. I propose dropping electricsheep.xml from xscreensaver as the electricsheep version will be more current. CCing games because of /usr/share/man/man6/worm.6.gz conflict.
debian works around this by installing the xscreensaver stuff as worm.6x.gz. maybe xscreensaver could be modified to do the same thing on Gentoo?
(In reply to comment #2) > debian works around this by installing the xscreensaver stuff as worm.6x.gz. > maybe xscreensaver could be modified to do the same thing on Gentoo? Good idea. Fixed this bug by: * electricsheep.xml and fireflies.xml are removed from xscreensaver * worm.6 moved to worm.6x
