Description Rodrigo Lazo 2006-06-04 11:07:02 UTC
I just updated to mozilla-firefox 1.5.0.4 this morning and I found this nasty problem when looking at the preferences dialog. First is rather oversized, and when loading the advanced dialog for fonts I doesn't render it very well. The only things that I've changed from compilation of 1.0.x and this is LINGUAS.

Here is emerge --info

Oversized preference's dialog

As you can see, the dialog is as big as the main window.

advanced font dialog messed

In the screenshot you can see that the advanced dialog isn't render properly. Looks like the window holding the widgets isn't visible. It took me some time to find where was the Ok and Cancel Buttons.

well first thing first, did you mv ~/.mozilla/firefox out of the way and test with a clean profile as ebuild instructs? If not please test there are known issues when moving from 1.0.x to 1.5.x. As for me I am unable to replicate the problem your showing.
Comment 4 Rodrigo Lazo 2006-06-04 11:40:28 UTC
I tried with a brand new .mozilla/firefox dir and new profile and it was fixed with the default theme. Then I installed again the other theme (Orbit 3+1) and the problem returns. Is a theme bug.
