when skype is running, if someone calls, the ringtone does not sound, however, when calling someone else, the ringtone does sound, as well, conversations work fine. Using plain OSS, not arts or esd. Please try 1.3 and report back
took a while before Skype started playing sounds: - activate option - activate use of ALSA - restart Skype - make 3 or 4 trires ... - check nothing else is using ALSA, shutdown all other sound applications. If stilll no sound after that, I cant help. If there is sound then, use dichotomy to isolate problem :)
Assuming this is fixed. Please re-open if needed.
