Description Gontran Zepeda 2003-01-09 01:43:41 UTC
Attempting to run scripts/bootstrap.sh for the 20030109 stage1 tarball this
evening advertised on gentoo-dev, but fails on first emerge unable to find gcc
in $PATH.

The gcc environment variables aren't getting picked up from /etc/env.d/gcc/ and
put into /etc/profile.env

/etc/env.d/ contains:
00basic 07less gcc/

/etc/env.d/gcc/ contains:
i586-pc-linux-gnu-3.2.1 (with all the goods)

Sorry, I'm not sure how to remedy this atm.

Also, I'm curious if /etc/make.profile should by default be linked to /usr/portage/profile/default-x86-1.4 instead of default-1.0 .

I'm bootstrapping in a spare partition of a default-1.0 install.

Yours,
Gontran
