Description Josu López Fernández 2006-06-03 11:24:07 UTC
Hello!
The versions 4.39 and 4.42 of p7zip fail on cross compilation. This is because in the ebuild, we can see this:
# be aware that CXX is now gcc in pattern due to upstream (radek@20060318)
But now, with this two versions, this isn't true, in the makefile CXX is defined with g++. So the sed doesn't work, it changes CC but not CXX. To fix it is only needed to change this into the ebuild, like in the path which I supply. It is for the 4.42 version, but is the same fix for both versions. I have tested between amd64, x86 and ppc and works well

Good Bye!
