Description Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-02 12:34:52 UTC
This package depends on nxclient and nx-x11, both of which are masked on the amd64/2006.0/no-multilib profile. This package needs to be masked also. Please update your profiles directory from CVS before making any more commits to ensure that the no-multilib profile is checked when doing a commit.

Thanks to Mr_Bones_ for pointing this out to me.

So should I just fix this?
Comment 2 Stuart Herbert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-12 14:47:56 UTC
Hrm .. I'm a bit confused here.

The DEPENDs on nx-x11 and nxclient are both optional. Mr_Bones discussed this with me on #-dev (last week I think it was), and confirmed that there are now no errors on amd64 w/ no-multilib profile.

I've just run repoman locally, and it's not reporting any profile errors against the no-multilib profile.

Can you check, and make sure that this problem still exists?

Best regards,
Stu

/var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/net-misc/nxserver-freenx $ repoman scan

Setting paths:
PORTDIR = "/var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86"
PORTDIR_OVERLAY = ""

RepoMan scours the neighborhood...

I'm confused; that's not the result I'm seeing locally. I *am* seeing a problem reported against the default amd64 profile (which I'll get fixed when I have a moment), but not about amd64-no-multilib.

belal nxserver-freenx # repoman full

Setting paths:
PORTDIR = "/usr/local/overlays/gentoo-x86"
PORTDIR_OVERLAY = ""

belal nxserver-freenx # repoman scan

Setting paths:
PORTDIR = "/usr/local/overlays/gentoo-x86"
PORTDIR_OVERLAY = ""

RepoMan scours the neighborhood...

  digest.assumed                 5

   digest-nxserver-freenx-0.4.4-r1::freenx-0.4.4.tar.gz
RepoMan sez: "You're only giving me a partial QA payment?
              I'll take it this time, but I'm not happy."

CVS reports that my profiles directory is up to date.

Please advise.

Best regards,
Stu

Strange... the problem has fixed itself since I filed this... since I can no longer reproduce it...

So... umm... good job, Stuart! hehe...

No worries. Rather be asked to look at something than not!
