i have an old computer that is a piii700 with 320MB ram
and firefox 1.5(actualy the 1.5.0.3) is too slow when i open a new windows
it's related to the favorites and the toolbar folder
i re-installed because of an hdd coruption and i emerged mozilla-firefox
it was fast again
then when i imported my favorites and my toolbar folder it went so slow
when i open a new window the widows(without any content) takes 29s to load

Please reopen with emerge --info and strace of the problem, for starters. Most likely belongs upstream anyway.
