Description 931987 2006-05-28 04:58:33 UTC
easytag does not write selfmade genres like 'Indie Rock' or something like that, which isn't given in assortment. As a work around I use for this column media-sound/tagtool.
The same problem appears in each older version and _yes_ I set the tag rules right in the settings. ;-)

I cannot verify this. When I add "Indie Rock" to a mp3 and save it, it shows up.

Have you read the files with 'id3info'? If not, would you mind try it out?

$ id3info /path/to/music.mp3

yes, how it SHOULD be.
Comment 5 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-04-15 08:30:02 UTC
Still a problem w/ 2.0?
Comment 6 931987 2007-04-15 13:54:57 UTC
No, problem seems to be solved in 2.0. This bug can be closed in my opinion.
Thx for response.
