both the tvtime and celestia packages in the stable branch are outdated. The tvtime found in the ~x86 is much more up to date. The celestia found in ~x86 doesn't crash continuously due to a known bug like the one in stable does. It does that in every distro with that old version. The new version is more stable and contains more features.
