it's been in portage about a month, and it works perfect on my x86 and amd64.

so I request to stable it on x86 and amd64

Not for everyone Im afraid. Look at the bug reports for some athlon uses.  The textrel patch is a pain....

xvid-1.1.0-r1 caused segfaults on my Athlon box.  Reverting to 1.1.0 solved the problem.

Yes, one more vote here, 1.1.0 working here, 1.1.0-r1 crashing.
Maybe one should consider to keywork -r1 again and

Stable rejected for now, seems there are issues.
