The Gaim Plugin Pack is a group of plugins for Gaim. It provides 29 plugins (most of them providing little extensions to the gaim software like a magic 8ball or a schedule extension). The version works with the gaim-2.0_beta builds.
Created attachment 87570 [details] gaim-plugin_pack ebuild for 1.0beta3
each plugin should have a use flag to enable or disable build its support.
that's a good idea, I'll get to that tomorrow. Thanks for the input.
Version bump to beta4 ;-) Thanks a lot for adding this ebuild :-)
Created attachment 102406 [details] gaim-plugin_pack 1.0beta5 ebuild (with plugins configureable through use flags) New ebuild that fixes a lot of the messy stuff I had in before. All plugins can now be activated/deactivated through use flags (if none of the new use flags is set, all plugins are built). The ebuild still has a glitch (QA Notice for the use of sed to manipulate the Version number according to the way the guifications team names their files) so if you have a good idea how to improve that any help is appreciated.

sorry for doubleposting, there seems to have been a problem with bugzilla, could someone delete the doublepost? Thanks
do we have a time when this ebuild will be in portage officially?
Created attachment 107784 [details] gaim-plugin_pack 1.0beta6 ebuild Just a version bump to match the new gaim release.
Created attachment 113179 [details] gaim-plugin_pack-1.0_beta6.ebuild Prior ebuilds didn't behave correctly when no plugins were selected. Note that latests ebuilds of this package are already in Gentoo Sunrise Overlay thanks to Jürgen Geuter and can be found in: http://www.gentoo-sunrise.org/svn/reviewed/x11-plugins/gaim-plugin_pack/
Please re-open when a version of the pluginpack that support pidgin is released, I'll try to add it to the tree.
*** Bug 101152 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
the version working with pidgin is called "purple-plugin_pack" and can be found as x11-plugins/purple-plugin_pack in the sunrise overlay.
in the main tree!
