The program on the forum thread: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-464101.html should show a small red sphere with a surrounding black wireframe sphere, but when compiled with -DBROKEN (which switches the render order of the spheres) all I see is a large, black, filled sphere. Since noone on the forum had any suggestions, I'm assuming that this is a bug. emerge --info output: Portage 2.0.54-r2 (default-linux/ppc/2004.1, gcc-3.4.3, glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1, 2.6.10-gentoo-r4 ppc) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.10-gentoo-r4 ppc 745/755 Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 ccache version 2.2 [disabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5, 2.4.2 dev-python/pycrypto: [Not Present] dev-util/ccache: 2.2 dev-util/confcache: [Not Present] sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.12 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r1 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.90.0.3-r5 sys-devel/libtool: 1.4.3-r4, 1.5.16 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r4 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="ppc" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O2 -mcpu=750 -pipe" CHOST="powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/eselect/compiler /etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -mcpu=750 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/gentoo/ ftp://mirrors.sec.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de/gentoo/ http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/ http://ftp.easynet.nl/mirror/gentoo/" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="ppc X acl alsa arts artswrappersuid audiofile berkdb bitmap-fonts bzip2 cdparanoia cdr cli crypt cups curl dri dvd emboss ethereal exif expat fam ffmpeg flac font-server fortran freetype gd gdbm gif glut gpm gtk2 idn imagemagick imlib ipv6 isdnlog jpeg kde lcms libwww mad mng motif mp3 mpeg ncurses nls ogg oggvorbis opengl pam pcre pda pdflib perl plotutils png pppd python qt quicktime readline reflection ruby sdl session smime spell spl sqlite ssl tcpd tetex tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts udev unicode usb vorbis wifi xft xine xml2 xorg xv xvid zlib userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, INSTALL_MASK, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS, MAKEOPTS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_OPTS
Sorry, this is not a support forum for fixing third-party apps.
Sorry, what is the appropriate place to ask for help?
