My T60p fails to wake up from hibernate-ram with stock suspend2-sources-2.16.6-r6, cf https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.15/+bug/35174 and http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Problems_with_SATA_and_Linux#Hang_on_resume_from_suspend_to_RAM As described at http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Talk:Problems_with_SATA_and_Linux#Patch_against_SATA-resume_problem_with_T60 , applying [1] and [2] resolves the issue. [1] http://www.spinnaker.de/linux/c1320/sata-resume-2.6.16.5.patch [2] https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=75844&action=view I understand they are a compilation of OpenSUSE patches; I don't know if they are scheduled for inclusion in mainline. Please consider applying them to suspend2-sources.
