sylpheed claws needs a /etc/mime.types to detect the mime-types of attachements. If there is none, every outgoing file will get the mimetype application/octet-stream. there is a mime.types in the apache-dir, which can be copied. don't have a good solution, maybe we should have a mime.types for /etc in baselayout, or sylpheed claws should install one.
Hmm..never noticed this, but I could put it in the ebuild if u attach me a copy :) Did u get -claws-0.8.8 to compile?

Created attachment 7085 [details] mime.types This one is taken from apacke (/etc/apache/conf/mime.types). I think it should be okay to use it.
