I'm in much trouble to install this app on my gentoo servers.
I do not know if anyone else is interested but i'm working right know on an ebuild for it and will publish it as soon as it is working.

Hope I can help other sysadmins who like me are constrained to install this piece of crap on their systems.

No progress here for 1 year; closing WONTFIX. Feel free to reopen with an ebuild.
