Metabar doesn't get installed properly. It seems that the konqsidebar_metabar.so file should be copied to /usr/lib/kde3/. Please see the attached URL. I'm sorry but I don't have enough knowlegde to submit a patch/fixed ebuild. :-)

Seems this has been fixed upstream in between...
