This seems to be fixed already in freeglut-2.4.0.
Comment 2 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-18 09:56:42 UTC
2.4 has been around for more than 10 months now, and it also fixes some problems.

When I went to test this on alpha there was a file collision with media-libs/glut.

They are replacements for each other, so that's not real surprising. I will add a blocker to ensure this isn't an issue -- I pulled a !virtual/glut blocker a while back because that broke on the new-style virtual.

build of freeglut-2.4.0 on stable x86 with collision-protect.

Looks good, should be fine to go stable on x86.

Thanks, Samuli 'drac' Suominen
