This is now in Sunrise Overlay with media-gfx/mapivi, bug #133333

Yes, because this is required by media-gfx/mapivi bug #133333 on my system.

Since both this bug and bug #133333 are not in portage, it may stay as it is – here?

To be staight forward I have to say that I just tested mapivi but it doesn't run.

The ebuild in sunrise was outdated and unmaintained, so it got removed.
