Description Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-13 04:52:26 UTC
Hello,

since I updated from rtcw-1.41-r2 to rtcw-1.41b I cannot play rtcwmp anymore. When I invoke rtcwmp I get the following errormessage:

gamemaster@breakmygentoo:~> rtcwmp
./wolf.x86: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
gamemaster@breakmygentoo:~>

I don't have any file that is called something like libstdc++-libc6 I only have libstdc++ (without the libc6 part).
This error occured on all my x86 and ~x86 machines (don't have any amd64 to test it there).
I'm quite sure this error is a fault from upstream as the error has also been reported as a usercomment @ http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1238
I tried to report this to idsoftware but I couldn't find any emailaddress of that company. Maybe someone else can report this?

Cheers
Poly-C

Fixed in CVS by adding some dependencies.
