Description Chuan Shi 2006-05-10 05:27:05 UTC
type a single character into any box where you can type (quick search bar, location bar included), and try to click-and-drag highlight the single character from right to left (or even from left to right), and it doesn't work. Highlighting will work on multiple characters or Confirmed on a friend's amd64 system running "stable" mozilla-firefox-1.5.0.2

basically, left-clicking in a box with a single character in it automatically moves the blinking cursor to the left of the character (the beginning of the box)

I'm fairly certain this didn't exist in mozilla-firefox-1.0.8 (which i upgraded from)

This has nothing in common with Bugzilla product.
Comment 2 Yang Zhao 2006-05-18 00:05:41 UTC
Confirmed.

It seems that the textfield is bugging out when only a single character is present, preventing the cursor from moving to just after the first character.

Trivial to work around, but quite annoying nontheless.
Comment 3 Yang Zhao 2006-05-20 23:46:11 UTC
All text input fields seem to be affected, including website forms.
Comment 4 Jory A. Pratt 2006-05-21 08:16:46 UTC
Works fine for me, If problem persist it should be filled upstream not with us.
