This is not very important, I think, but it's quite annoying. I must change each time that I beginn a gnome session the resolution of the monitor using gnome-display-properties. The changes are not stored, so I must make the same each time. In case this could give any clue: I have exactly the same problem with gnome-volume-control (not storing changes). i cannot reproduce this. what version of control-center are you using? Before exiting your session, does running gnome-session-save preserve the change?
gnome-control-center 2.12.3. I have tried it, running gnome-session-save before existing stores almost everything (opened consoles,...), but not monitor resolution and volume. Do you know where are this settings stored (so I can change this manually)?
This was caused because of a personalized bar. With the standard bar there is no problem
