about a year ago, i had a similar (the same) problem when starting consolefont. here's the thread: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-138391-postdays-0-postorder-asc-start-0.html

there were some bug fix for the 2.6.9 fbsplash. well please take a look.

Which problem exactly? Referring to two years old forums script is not much helpful. Are you using some splash? If so, there's nothing that could be done about this message, already explained a couple of times (like Bug 77122 or Bug 63137).
