Description Renan T. Inácio 2006-05-09 18:53:23 UTC
Steps to Reproduce:
  1) rm -rf ~/.Azureus
  2) execute azureus
  3) configure and add a torrent that is already completed

Actual Results: at the end of the torrent verification, it will transfer the file to the "seeding" screen division.. and then will crash

Expected Results: don't crash :-)

Additional Information:
I tried using sun-jdk-1.5, sun-jre-1.5 and blackdown-jre-1.4, all of them gives almost the same output (only thing that changes is the "submit this bug" url and the log file)

Hi,

got the same error but short after starting azureus.
I upgraded to the masked 2.3.0.6 Version and currently it works
with blackdown-jre-1.4.2.03.
Could it be an issue with the glibc Version? (glibc-2.3.6-r3)
I upgraded to this Version for 3 days ago or so, and since then i have this issue with the azureus-bin Version 2.3.0.4.
Therefor it worked without any problem with the same blackdown Version.
I did reemerge blackdown & azureus after upgrading glibc and also revdep-rebuild, but nothing helped.
I have created an list with packages, which i lately upgraded.
If you wish i could upload this list.

greetz

Great, azureus-bin-2.3.0.6 works with no problem (at least i don't have that issue)
And I also upgraded to the last glib version before attempting to run azureus-bin-2.3.0.4, so that is something that may make sense.

thats interesting.
Are you using the same java Version?
I made an test an azureus-2.3.0.6 rans for 24 hours downloading somefiles without any problem.
I think it could be marked as stabled, but i'm not sure. neffer done before

yes, blackdown-jre-1.4.2.03
i tried with sun jdk 1.5.0.6 and it didn't crash either
both crashed with azureus-bin-2.3.0.4 and glib-1.8.6
azureus-bin-2.3.0.6 with glib-1.8.6 and with any of those java machines seems stable

1) emerges fine (some exec stacks though)
2) passes collision test
3) works

emerges fine (what a surprise for a binary package) and also seems to work on amd64...
