Description Alexander Skwar 2006-05-08 23:42:33 UTC
I tried to emerge libgphoto2 with the following flags:

[ebuild R ] media-libs/libgphoto2-2.1.6-r2 USE="doc exif nls -nousb" 0 kB

During ./configure run, I saw:

checking for usb_busses in -lusb... yes
configure: WARNING:
*** You need at least version 0.1.5 of the libusb library for USB support
*** http://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb/
*** If you cannot find the appropriate version, try CVS

In portage, there's only libusb-0.1.12 and that's also, what I've got installed.

I wonder if libgphoto2 works correctly with the outdated libusb version.

Lowest libusb version in portage is 0.1.8.

You're right. I misread the message as 0.1.15.

Do you get the same warning message though?
