When a USB printer is temporarily detached from the computer, the printer is put in 'stopped' state. It remains 'stopped', even when you attach it again. Only after manually starting the printer again, it will continue its jobs. Does the same happen with cups-1.2.1, too?
I don't know, I can't upgrade to that version just yet..
Please give me some way to fix this or report it upstream to not put it in the "stopped" state. Do you think we probably need a hotplug-udev script for this? If it can be fixed downstream please reopen and tell me how :) in the meantime I suggest just not to unplug the printer
