Description Robert Wohlrab 2006-05-06 02:29:51 UTC
Since kopete supports the jingle, it would be nice, that it can be enabled with the ebuild. All dependencies are listed on the linked page.

kopete-0.12_beta2-r1.ebuild with jingle support

first test for ebuild with jingle support. I am compiling it right now to look if it works (can take some time). Maybe iLBC should also be added as dependency and it should be checked it also works with oRTP 0.9.1 (and higher).

You can try my ebuild at:
wget http://genstef.homelinux.org/local/net-im/kopete-svn/kopete-svn-0.12.ebuild
mkdir files
cd files
wget http://genstef.homelinux.org/local/net-im/kopete-svn/files/kopete-svn-0.12_alpha1-xscreensaver.patch

It does not work for me, because I cannot select any audio input or output device

Until it can reproduced systematically that it works, it's not going to go in at all.

Up to now, it failed to build here, it failed to work for genstef, and upstream used to require a particular version of speex library that's not the latest (and this hasn't changed AFAIK).
Comment 4 Robert Wohlrab 2006-05-06 05:47:45 UTC
It compiles here with my ebuild (~x86) without problems and I have a voice call with a google mail guy at the moment.

reopen to fix

Thanks, this has been fixed properly now. Including an ortp mask to avoid up/downgrade cycles, thanks.
