Need to go stable for a change. It fixes quite a few bugs, including bug #114730 that is urgent currently.
Err - alpha, aparently you have issues with some gcc/binutils combinations - I will do a 1.2.18 or something in the next day or two. (ferdy does have a patch from me that fixes mentioned issue).
sandbox-1.2.17 seems to work fine on x86. For testing i've just done 'emerge -uavDN world' and updated a few packages.
