Description Arno Ekkes 2006-05-01 12:49:44 UTC
I'm using a AMD64 w/ an 32-bits chroot for compatibility reasons. I mounted my homedir using mount -o bind /home /mnt/gentoo32/home to my chroot. Since some time now /bin/pwd gives the following error.
/bin/pwd: couldn't find directory entry in `..' with matching i-node

I did a check to see in with version of coreutils the problem disappears and that is in version 5.2.1-r7. Futhermore the problem exists in both the chroot and the normal system at the same point where the directory is mounted.
I googled for a solution and found this bug is the mailing-list of coreutils. It is a bugreport by someone using debian. The link is: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=355810
Unfortunalety I can't get coreutils patched with the patch supplied in the bugreport.
This is my emerge info of the chroot:
