Description Robert Wohlrab 2006-05-01 07:33:19 UTC
There are different games in portage with ggz support (libggz in portage),
where ggz needs to be activated. Freeciv is one of them
Comment 1 LXj 2006-08-07 03:34:50 UTC
GGZ support will be added in Freeciv 2.1.0. Current version (2.0.x) doesn't support GGZ
Comment 2 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-15 00:52:52 UTC
Reopen later then.
Comment 3 Roger Light 2008-02-22 14:24:11 UTC
Can this be reopened please?
Comment 4 Robert Wohlrab 2008-02-22 14:31:16 UTC
Follow request by Roger Light. Can you please comment on the support in freeciv?
Comment 5 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-29 05:33:22 UTC
I'd take a patch but I don't use ggz myself so it won't happen soon unless someone steps up.
Comment 6 Jonathan Callen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-03 03:47:38 UTC
As a temporary measure, until such support is added to the ebuild, I would like to request that `--without-ggz-client` be passed to econf, so that there are no automagic deps, and that the build does not fail when dev-games/ggz-client-libs is installed and games-board/ggz-gtk-games is not.

On the 2.1.10 version --without-ggz-client is passed to configure. Thanks
Comment 9 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-03-03 20:31:36 UTC
seems like this is fixed.
