Description Jonathan Coome (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-29 11:38:16 UTC
According to the forums post linked above this is caused by Ogg Vorbis files having recently started to appear to have the mime-type 'video/x-theora+ogg'. When I patched banshee to recognise that mime-type as an ogg file, it was able to import and play Oggs fine. Also according to that forums post, this affects Muine as well.

Comment 2 Markus Jordan 2006-05-11 00:50:10 UTC
Just as confirmation: Ogg's do work with banshee-0.10.10-r1. (They didn't work before the last update)

Yup, the new version fixes this. :)
