After an upgrade from the former stable version of k3b, k3bsetup stopped working: After starting: /usr/bin/k3bsetup or kcmshell k3bsetup2 I got following error message: libk3b.so.1 cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory. In usr/lib there are just: /usr/lib/libk3b.so /usr/lib/libk3b.la /usr/lib/libk3b.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib/libk3b.so.2 When I start: kcmshell --list then I can't find any modules for k3bsetup but they are present in /usr/lib/kde: /usr/lib/kde3/kcm_k3bsetup2.so /usr/lib/kde3/kcm_k3bsetup2.la all listed kcm_modules are placed in /usr/kde/3.4/lib/kde3/ I tried to copy the kcm_k3bsetup module form /usr/lib/kde to /usr/kde/3.4/lib/kde3/ but then the kcmshell crashes when I trie too start the module. Any Ideas? Should I reemerge kde? (hopefully not, I compiled it from source)
Bug is solved. I emerged k3b again, did a restart and now k3bsetup works.
