Description Robert Luke 2003-01-02 20:09:42 UTC
Hi, I tried emerging SCID (a chess database) and it seems to install okay, but
the executable is placed in /usr/games/bin instead of /usr/bin. That
directory isn't in the path, so when I cd to the /usr/games/bin directory and
invoke it with ./scid, it looks for, but can't find, the executable called
tkscid. It is also there, but since the directory isn't in the path, it can't
find it.

I can add the director /usr/games/bin to my path, but I'm guessing that the
person who did the ebuild really wanted to put the executables in /usr/bin and
I wanted to give him or her a heads-up.

Thanks,
-Robert
