Created attachment 85316 [details] emerge spice log file Complete log from emerge spice.
Tried an old fix that had been suggested by adding the flag "gcc" to the src_compile line in the ebuild: src_compile() { ./util/build linux gcc || die obj/bin/makeidx lib/helpdir/spice.txt || die } Doesn't change anything, so the problem is elsewhere.
Fixed in cvs, thanks for reporting.
