Hi,

the man page of tar is rather misleading reg. the -N vs. the --newer-mtime options. I'll post a patch to this bug report.

Just as a side note: The man page is _not_ from upstream but gentoo-specific and is in the portage tree ("files" subdirectory)

we have our own manpage because upstream refuses to include one
