Bug 130607 – new ebuild: Rune Halls of Valhalla

I wrote an ebuild for Rune Halls of Valhalla. This ebuild can, like the Rune ebuild be used with either the Windows or the Linux CD. It needs some diff files to the Linux Rune CD, so I sent an e-mail to Human Head to ask for permission, but they don't seem to respond... (does anyone know an E-Mail address that works?)

Modified ebuild - works

I fixed this ebuild several months ago, and thinking I'd soon get a copy of the Linux HOV, I held off on uploading this here. The original ebuild does an xdelta on arena.u, this xdelta fails with the arena.u on the win32 CD, but seems a moot issue as the 1.08 update overwrites it either way. I still don't have (and can't find) a LEGIT Linux HOV copy (as in to BUY it legally), but the changes I've made here appear that they would need to be made for either win32 or *nix CD if the ebuild is to emerge correctly. If you've got a Linux HOV copy, please try this out and let me know how it goes for you. The URL in the orig. ebuild for rhov108udp_linux.zip is long dead. I've found copies laying around in various places (haven't looked in a couple of months, or I'd leave a new link). This ebuild assumes that this file is already in your distfiles. I have a copy, and I believe it's freely distributable, so, if you can't find it elsewhere, feel free to drop me a line.

I removed Arena.u.patch, which shrinks the tgz by ~90%. This is not needed, as noticed by A. Frederick Christensen.

This is the adapted ebuild to the new name of the rune-hov-0.2.tgz. Only the name changed, rest the same. Seems to work on both, linux and windows. Linux verified by me (amd64).

Been away from Gentoo for a while. This ebuild appears to have been removed. Can anyone shed some light on why?
