gotmail 0.8.8 is in portage, it is just in ~x86 (it was added 3/19). If you want to install it add "net-mail/gotmail ~x86" to /etc/portage/package.keywords. Be aware that there is an issue with MSN doing some update that creates problems, check bug number 130903 @ http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130903

From the ebuild:
KEYWORDS="~amd64 ~ppc ~ppc64 ~sparc ~x86"

I cut release 0.8.9 which fixes this issue mentioned below. Hopefully now you all can move 0.8.9 to the mainline portage. Thanks!
