Description Bols 2006-04-19 13:59:50 UTC
When launching a video file, mplayer/gmplayer complains about a missing file:

File not found: '/home/user/.mplayer/default.sub'
Failed to open /home/user/.mplayer/default.sub

This is not really a big issue when launching a video file from mplayer itself but when mplayerplug-in try to read a video file into firefox, instead of playing at the end of the buffering process, it just shows a "Download complete" then "Stopped" notification but the video will not play.

And maybe there are others cases where this missing file prevents the video from being read.

This issue can be fixed like this:

$touch .mplayer/default.sub

It would be nice if you could directly fix the ebuild. Thanks.
