According to the changelog kmplayer 9.2_rc1 uses gstreamer-0.10 and not 0.8.
   (- Ported gstreamer backend from 0.8 to 0.10)

Compiles fine with gst-plugins-base-0.10* as dependency

Fixed in version 0.9.2; now you are allowed to use either:
- gst-plugins-0.8*
- gst-plugins-base-0.10*
