yeah, well. version 1.3.1 is available upstream and not in portage yet. I'll submit an ebuild.

new ebuild for libupnp 1.3.1

They changed the build-process to autotools, so the ebuild needs some major adjustments compared to 1.2.1a. I'm far from being an ebuild-expert, but I tried and it seems to work here (x86).

But someone with more experience in ebuild-writing should have a look at it.

ah, btw. I changed the latex dependency to virtual/tetex, fixing this: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105411
