that's odd ... that stc.c file should be using 'FFESTV_stateSUBROUTINE2', not 'FFESTV_statESUBROUTINE2' (notice the difference in caps in the E) try running like: grep -R FFESTV_statESUBROUTINE2 /var/tmp/portage/gcc-3.4.6-r1/work/ and see if you get any hits
