Enthought publish an OSS tool suite (http://code.enthought.com/ets/) which could be of some use... An ebuild should be written, but some decision need to be done before regarding the naming of the entries in portage : should i call them "dev-python/enthought-envisage", "dev-python/enthought-chaco", etc. in the like of the Twisted libs, or there is another policy regarding the name of software publisher ?

No progress here for year; closing WONTFIX. Feel free to reopen with an ebuild.
