Since official branding has been included in Firefox e-builds for some time now, I do not see any reason why Thunderbird ones should not have it as well. The only change that has been made is the addition of the following line: mozconfig_annotate '' --enable-official-branding

I am reopening the bug as: a. Statements in the other bug are false, since then it has been allowed to Gentoo to give official branding to Firefox. b. I have provided a ready e-build.

Also, kindly note that Firefox != Thunderbird. > b. I have provided a ready e-build. ZOMG... Look, it will be done when it will be done. This is getting seriously annoying, if you can't live without the logo then use -bin meanwhile. We know how to enable branding, but we have more important things to do first. P.S. Generally, unified diffs are preffered for whatever ebuild changes you suggest, instead of a huge ebuild with one line changed.
actually i mentioned this to anarchy a few weeks ago. he said the thunderbird builds should have had branding enabled and he didn't know why they didn't. i think it got lost in a bump because for a while they were branded. anyways, he said he'd look into it. guess he forgot. ;)
Since the new Thunderbird 1.5.0.2 e-build has official branding enabled, I consider this bug closed.
