Bug 130119 – mozilla-firefox-1.5.0.2 is not showing in the correct languaje translation (LANG=es)

after update to 1.5.0.2 the program languaje is english even when the translation extension is installed, the rest of the lang config is english too.
y removed ~/.mozilla and the problem is still there, re-emerged and everithing is equal.
I have also installed mozplugger and tryed to unmerge, remerge ... with same resutl.

Same problem here, also with firefox-bin. Tried to install the langpack manually and same result...

as a workaround, open "about:config" and set "general.useragent.locale" to the locale you prefer, instead of "en-US"

setting the locale at general.useragent.locale to es-ES solved the problem

please keep this bug open, IMHO the workaround is not a general solution

Yep, the workaround is a solution which should only be temporary, as the problem didn't exist with 1.5.0.1-r4 and below. Btw, the workaround also works for me (fr-FR) so thanks for that !
