Its not possible to install UT2004 from the German DVD: The EBuild only copys the CD1-Directory but not the following Directories because it searches for the folders in /mnt/cdrom/CD2/CD2/StaticMeshes but it should be /mnt/cdrom/CD2/StaticMeshes I change the EBuild as attached and I was able to emerge UT2004 but I think this will break all overs medias. I'll also attach a ls -l of the DVD so you can see it.

Okay, it was my first bug to report, so please forgive these mistakes.
Created attachment 84804 [details, diff] ut2004-data-3186-r3.diff Did you set CD_ROOT or CD_ROOT_1? Here's the diff between yours and ut2004-data-3186-r3.ebuild

Created attachment 84806 [details, diff] ut2004-data-3186-r3.diff This additional bit of flexibility should solve it.
My patch should also handle the situation where the 6 CDs are copied to an installation directory, as in: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-454357.html
I've added Paul's patch to CVS to hopefully work around this issue. As for the DVD needing to be mounted before emerging, there's already a bug open for that and we haven't come up with a complete solution for that quite yet.
