Description falcon 2006-04-14 19:13:29 UTC
When using GPG encryption with Kopete, some recieved blocks appear to be invalid. Kopete prompts for a password, and never accepts the correct one.

An attempt to decrypt one such block via the command line returns:

falcon@falcon ~ $ gpg --decrypt gpg-kopete-malformed-block
gpg: CRC error; 73F10C - EA62F9
gpg: mpi too large for this implementation (56929 bits)

A malformed block generated in this manner

The block was generated from Kopete during an IM conversation and it is one of many (though the problem is intermittent). It could not be decrypted. I do not know the cleartext.

Is this still an issue for the latest kopete? If so, please reopen.
