All the manpages get installed as (ie) dhclient.0.gz even if they are in man8 or man5.

[/ #] man dhclient
No manual entry for dhclient
[/ #] locate dhclient.0.gz
/usr/share/man/man8/dhclient.0.gz
[/usr/share/man/man8 #] ln -s dhclient.0.gz dhclient.8.gz

now man dhclient works, but output is garbled (see attachment)

cut and paste of man output.

Every other man page is shown correctly, and if I copy the man page (dhclient.8) from source to this location it is shown correctly also.
