Unset:  ASFLAGS, CTARGET, EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS, INSTALL_MASK, LANG, LC_ALL, LINGUAS, MAKEOPTS

As some devices such as bcm43xx still require ya to set rate manually to 11M it is critical that package be masked or fixed.

Problem confirmed and version 29_pre p.masked. Thank you for reporting this.

I'll look into the cause tomorrow.

Fixed by Jean in net-wireless/wireless-tools-29_pre9. Thank you for reporting this - and thanks to Jean for the prompt fix.
